Our Mission
The mission of Hugs for is to empower students in the United States to share love, hope, and confidence with children in impoverished countries so that they can have the ability to make positive contributions in their own communities.
Led by a committed group of students, the organization strives to impact communities around the world by using youth to reach other youth. We believe young people are the most powerful catalysts of social change. By empowering volunteers, positive contributions can be made to communities. Through a donation or benefiting from an original Hugs project, children become positively impacted and encouraged.
Our Vision
Hugs for is a student-led 501(c)3 organization committed to fostering support and encouragement for children globally through innovative grassroots projects and curated gift item donations.
We focus our efforts on reaching children in villages, hospitals, schools, orphanages, and other child-related areas in impoverished nations and underserved communities.
We believe in harnessing the power of youth to bring about positive change in communities around the world.
Our vision is for members to create and execute programs that enhance communities, empowering both children and volunteers to realize their full potential as global leaders and change-makers.
We believe that youth are the future change makers.
