Hugs for is an entirely student run 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children within and beyond the United States through creative grass roots projects, community service opportunities, and item donations.
We empower high school students in the United States to start their own branches and lead various local and global projects. To date numerous clubs have been established across the United States and 'Hugs for' trips have been conducted in Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and Sierra Leone.

Global Projects
The opportunity for students to offer a helping hand to the global community is the basis of our international work effort. Through material drives, philanthropic trips, and donation fundraisers, our organization offers a direct, tangible method for youth volunteers and community members to leave their mark on the world. Local Projects
Hugs participates in projects both overseas and in the local community. From organizing annual "Culture Nights" (pictured to the right) to implementing Retirement Home Concerts and community Car Washes, our volunteers are encouraged to adopt both a local and global mindset. We believe that communities are only as strong as the youngest leaders within them. Learn more about our local projects here:

Want to become involved?
Are you a motivated high school student in the United States? Starting a new Hugs for chapter at your high school is the best way to join the Hugs team. Your organization will be provided seed funding, tips and tricks to getting started, and be granted access to the growing Hugs online community. All high school students are encouraged to start a chapter.

As Hugs for is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we rely entirely on donations and fundraisers to remain functioning. All donations made to Hugs are tax deductible. Item donations based on project themes, cash donations, and check donations are acceptable as well.
